I am a practitioner in the field of clinical psychology. I am involved in helping people to reinterpret their experiences in a way that makes them contribute to a good and mindful participation in life.
I am also interested in reflecting on the human condition in situations of long-term illness, disability or health issues and how these circumstances shape the individual’s conceptual environment. I adopt a humanistic-historical perspective in these reflections, which for me means focusing on a particular story in its unique context, in order to understand how a person’s reality changed over time; how their attitudes towards other people and situations were shaped and the choices they made as a result. I am also interested in the issue of communication between people in the context of giving and receiving help.
